Hello, Ingomar Baptist Church family!
We’re excited to invite you to a special day of worship here at Ingomar—“Rise, Dine, Shine, and Praise.” Join us on May 3rd for a morning filled with fellowship, great food, and a renewed focus on discipleship.
We’ll begin the day with a church-wide breakfast at 7:30 AM in the Family Life Center. After the great response to the Brotherhood’s church-wide breakfast last fall, they were eager to host it again. You know they don’t disappoint when it comes to a good meal!
As we planned this year’s event, we wanted to make the morning even more meaningful by focusing on discipleship. One name immediately came to mind when I was asked to find a speaker, Dr. John Boler from Calvary Baptist Church in Tupelo. Since he would already be joining us for breakfast, we also invited him to preach during our morning worship service.
Dr. Boler has seen tremendous fruit in the area of discipleship throughout his ministry, especially through Sunday School. Many of you may also recognize his name; His wife, Elizabeth Dunlap Boler, grew up right here in Ingomar. We are truly grateful to have him with us for both the breakfast and the worship service.
Following breakfast, we’ll gather again at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary for worship and the preaching of God’s Word. Our prayer is that this day will encourage each of us to grow as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
